PADI Freediver
The PADI Freediver Course introduces you to the world of freediving through breath control, relaxation and safe underwater exploration on a single breath. Training takes place in the calm waters of Simon’s Town and False Bay, providing the ideal environment to build confidence and develop foundational freediving skills.

Course structure

Practical Information
Minimum age: 15 years
Duration: Typically 2 days. Progression is based on comfort, relaxation and skill mastery, not speed.
Prerequisites: Comfortable swimming ability, good general health & medical clearance where required
Depth limit: 16 metres
Certification: PADI Freediver
The course combines theory development, confined water sessions and open water training to help you safely develop your freediving skills and confidence in the ocean.
