To enrol in the PADI Deep Diver course you must:

Be at least 15 years old

Hold a PADI Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification)

DEEP DIVING SKILLS

Understand how increasing depth affects your dive planning, gas consumption, no-decompression limits and your body. You’ll learn about nitrogen narcosis, emergency procedures and the additional equipment and considerations involved in deeper diving.

Learn how to plan deeper dives with greater attention to depth, time and available gas. You’ll develop a better understanding of gas management, turn pressures, reserve requirements and how your dive computer forms part of your overall dive plan.

Put your planning into practice across four training dives. You’ll work on controlled descents and ascents, depth awareness, buoyancy and gas monitoring while developing the discipline and situational awareness required when diving deeper.
